“Promise Me – A Personal Journey” is now in print!
Well – I met my deadline! “Promise Me – A Personal Journey” was delivered from the Printers two days before I spoke at the Wagner Watson UK InfoMillionaire’s Summit 2011 (I was one of the contestants in their “Better Your Best Competition – yes, I must have done something right last time as they asked me back again this year!!).
I’d made a promise to my fellow Inner Circle Masterminders that the book would be ready by then – so I’m glad to report I kept my word.
Writing the book has been a powerful way of completing the past, somehow taking the memories out of my head and putting them on to the printed page has helped with the final letting-go. Rather like Professor Dumbledore in the Harry Potter book using his wand to extract threads of his memories and put them into the bowl for others to dive into, I’ve emptied some of my memories and made room for new ones.
The whole message in the book is one of “don’t give up” – life throws up challenges and sometimes tragedies for us to deal with and that’s when we really get in touch with our inner strength and wisdom (and find out who our true friends are).
I’ve been blessed in my life with good health, love, friendship and some fabulous opportunities to enjoy exploring the world and live outside the “9-5″ routine – from retiring early to sail around “the world” to building a house in Portugal to starting over, re-inventing myself and building up a successful copywriting business. All part of life’s rich pattern.
